This week Weezy F. Baby called in to the Shade 45 morning show and chatted with DJ Drama and Karen Civil about the release of his new single, “6’7” featuring Cory Gunz.
After ranking seventh on MTV’s Hottest MCs In The Game list, it seems he’s back with a vengeance. Wayne describes the Bangladesh produced banger as a “monster” and a “beast”, and hopes that it will show everyone where he is lyrically.

But “6’7” is just a teaser in what we can expect to be heavy Lil Wayne exposure in the coming months. His new album, The Carter IV is expected to drop in February, and he hints at a “Dedication 4″ mixtape to add to his Gangsta Grillz series. He’s also got an upcoming Rolling Stone Magazine cover and feature, a Saturday Night Live performance with Eminem, and a Carson Daly appearance with Nicki Minaj.
Not to mention a new addition to Young Money.
“There’s always somebody new about to rock with us because I’m always searching and looking. I don’t want to say no names right now.”
It looks like post incarceration is treating Wayne well. When asked if everything is good, he replied:
“Everything’s great.”
